This playlist brings together sessions focussed on mental health and wellbeing when faced with challenges at school. With contributions from Roger Kneebone, Stephen Russell, Tom Oxley and Becky Mizon, these sessions all focus on how to sustain yourself as a professional and understand the role that you play for children & young people.
Dr Roger Kneebone, Director of the Imperial College Centre for Engagement and Simulation Science (ICCESS) in conversation with Jen Langeskov. Roger brings his perspective as a surgeon to the field of creative learning, and crucially talks about spending enough time on learning how to be great at what you do.

Steve looks at how teachers worked during lockdown and explores a framework to consider how we use our energy during strained times.
‘Managing Mental Health in a Mad World’ with Tom Oxley, Lead Consultant and Relationship Director for Bamboo Mental Health. Tom’s session looks at how stress and anxiety grew during Covid & how teachers can react to this.
‘Returning to the Classroom’ with Becky Mizon, Art Lead at Ormiston Victory Academy. Becky talks about returning to the classroom post Covid, how to prioritise your workload and how to keep yourself and your staff safe and well.
