Returns & exchanges

We don’t offer refunds unless a performances is cancelled or postponed.

Up to seven days before an event we can exchange tickets for another Norfolk & Norwich Festival event (exceptions may apply) or credit your Norfolk & Norwich Festival booking account with the value of the tickets. For any exchange or credit a £2 handling fee will be applied per ticket, and any physical tickets must be returned to a Norfolk & Norwich Festival Box Office before new tickets or credit can be issued. For e-tickets, exchanging or returning tickets will make the original e-tickets void.

Less than seven days before an event tickets can be offered for resale for credit to your Festival account, but resale is not guaranteed. Tickets offered for resale will only be put up for sale once an event is sold out, including any holds which are yet to be released. If we successfully resell your tickets, the amount the tickets were resold at, minus a £2 handling fee per ticket, will be credited to your Norfolk & Norwich Festival booking account.

Credit will be available for two years (24 months), after which any unused credit will be removed from your account and will be taken as a donation to Norfolk & Norwich Festival.

Cast, Ensemble, Producer and Director’s Circle Supporters are not charged the £2 handling fee when exchanging or crediting tickets. To find out more about becoming a Supporter click here

If an event is cancelled or postponed refunds may be paid at our discretion. In the event of a cancellation or postponement we are not liable for travel, accommodation or other expenses. Only ticket prices, excluding postage fees, will be refunded. Postage fees are not refundable.

The resale of tickets for profit is not allowed, and will result in the tickets being void.

Arts make life better

Norfolk & Norwich Festival brings tens of thousands of people together in celebration – it has been doing this for 250 years. Through our May Festival and our year-round arts education work, focusing on children and young people, we lead and support celebration, creativity and curiosity in communities across Norfolk and the region.

This year we begin an exciting new initiative, Festival Connect & Create that will bring creative opportunities to those schools and communities with least provision. Creativity transforms people’s lives. It builds cohesive communities, develops vital skills and supports health and wellbeing. We want more people to have access to creative opportunities.

Please consider donating to support and develop this work. With your help we can increase access to the life changing power of the arts.
